Welcome to Your Paws!

Your Paws is the one-stop destination for owners of happy, healthy pets.

As a pet owner you deserve trustworthy and unbiased assessment of food and accessories, and that's exactly what we provide. Our in-depth scientific reviews and hands-on comparisons of pet products will help you to make the best choices for you and your four-legged companion. We cover both the United States and the United Kingdom.

Crucially, Your Paws is 100% independently owned and operated. Unlike many other pet websites, we are not affiliated with any pet food manufacturer and fully disclose how we operate. Every article you find on this site is editorially impartial - you'll notice most articles are written by either veterinarians or vet nurses. This is part of our commitment to provide only evidence-based, scientific reviews of pet food and products. To learn more about how we operate, please review our affiliate disclaimer and editorial policy.

Meet the team

  • Tom Bennet

    Founder & Editor

A lifelong pet owner and animal lover, Tom created Your Paws out of frustration with the lack of impartial, scientific reviews of pet foods that were available online. Today he oversees the day-to-day running of the website.

  • Dr Becky Nicholson, MRCVS

    Pet Veterinarian & Writer

Becky has worked as a vet in the South West of England since graduating in 2011. Having worked with farm animals and horses in the past, Becky now works solely with pets. She particularly enjoys caring for elderly patients and those with long-term health conditions. She lives with her husband, their daughter and their two dogs.

  • Dr Sarah-Jane Molier, VM&S MRCVS BSc

    Pet Veterinarian & Writer

Since she was just ten years old Sarah-Jane Molier wanted to be a veterinarian. In 2009 she realised this dream by graduating, and has been working in small animal clinics ever since. She’s been involved in a mixture of charity, private and clinic managerial work. She lives with her husband, two children, cat and dog.

  • Dr Joanna Woodnutt, BVM BVS BVMedSci MRCVS

    Pet Veterinarian & Writer

Since graduating as a vet in 2016, Jo has looked for ways to help more clients than just the one in her consulting room. Today she does this with her writing and consulting. She lives in the Channel Islands and has a mixed-breed terrier called Pixie, who often ‘helps’ with her writing!

  • Claire Kealy, RVN

    Veterinary Nurse & Writer

Claire has been working in the veterinary field for eleven years, and became a fully qualified registered veterinary nurse (RVN) in 2017. She enjoys all aspects of surgery and anaesthesia, feline diabetic and blood pressure treatment, and educating clients on all aspects of care.
